Our beans are sourced through trusted and respected importers, including Raw Material, Osito, Primavera, and Omwani. We roast in-house at Under Pressure Espresso on a weekly basis, every Monday. We roast two coffees specifically for espresso, allowing us to maintain a relatively consistent brewing recipe for all our espresso-based drinks at Under Pressure Espresso. Of course, other espresso recipes can also work well with these roasts, though, like any coffee brewed at home, they'll require some dialling in for optimal results. For those looking for a decaf option, we have one omni-roasted option that works well with all brewing methods. โ€‹Our roasted coffee is sold as whole beans but can be ground to order for different brewing methods for those without a grinder (though we strongly recommend investing in one). For best results we recommend keeping your coffee as whole beans and grinding just before brewing.ย  Coffee stays fresher for longer when kept as whole beans because grinding significantly increases the surface area, which accelerates oxidation and the loss of volatile aromatics.
